The Easter Bunny will be paying a visit to Medicine Hat this year and he will be bringing approximately 10,000 chocolate eggs with him.

For the first time since the pandemic, a community easter egg hunt will take place for kids 12 and under.

The event will be held at the Cypress Centre Fieldhouse on the Stampede grounds on Saturday April 2. The event is free and it will hosted by Fire Dragon Taekwondo and BGSA Radiology .

“At Fire Dragon Taekwondo we work alot with kids here, and we have seen all the mental challenges kids have been going through and we noticed there really was no easter egg hunt last year, and so we and BGSA Radiology decided to host Medicine Hat’s best easter egg hunt,” said Mark Pellerin on Fire Dragon Taekwondo.

The Easter Egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. for kids four and under. At 10 :30 the hunt is open for kids 5-7 and finally at 11:00 a.m. kids 8-12 will be able to participate.

Pellerin said kids are required bring their own easter basket.
