South Ridge park washrooms closed due to vandalism, graffiti

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The public washrooms at South Ridge Community Park are being closed due to vandalism and offensive graffiti

The city says the washrooms will be closed until they can be restored and portable washrooms will be installed temporarily.

In a release, the city reminds people that incidents like this cause inconvenience and hardship to park visitors. it’s also a significant expense to repair the damage.

The city adds anyone witnessing inappropriate conduct may call the Medicine Hat Police Service at the non-emergency line 403-529-8481 to prevent further damage.
