Big Marble Go Centre ready for its first Family Day Fest

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Big Marble Go Centre is offering a long list of options for people to celebrate Family Day on Feb. 21.

Some Family Day Fest activities will take place for the entire noon to 5 p.m. event, while others will happen at scheduled times. All activities are free.

All-day activities:

• Inflatable Alley – Fieldhouse 1
  Bounce around on inflatable obstacle courses, slides and jumping castles from Dunmore Dugouts.
• Tot Time – Gymnasium
  Preschool aged children will have a blast exercising their gross motor muscles!
• Floor Hockey – Gymnasium
  Big kids and adults can show off their deeks and dangles in Quadrant 4 of the gymnasium.
• Yard Games – Gymnasium
• Puzzles, Games and Play Doh – Playroom
• The South Country Co-op Fitness Centre on the second floor will be open for regular use.

Scheduled activities:

Swimming & Wibit Sports Aqua Track – Please note that patrons must be eight or older to try the Wibit Aqua Track. Swim times are regulated in order to maintain capacity levels.

Patrons are asked to pick up a ticket when they arrive for one of two swim times throughout the day:

• noon-2:15 p.m.
• 2:45-5 p.m.

Public Skating Sponsored by Cash n Carry – Take part in the public skate happening at the Cenovus Arena from noon to 5 p.m.

The ice will be cleared at 1:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. to allow the little ones to watch the Zamboni at work. Skating will resume at 1:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Family Nerf Wars – Take aim and join the battle for our popular Nerf Wars. Blasters are supplied while supplies last. All ages welcome.

At the admission desk, patrons are asked to select one of five playing times to guarantee your spot:

• noon-12:45 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #1 – Fieldhouse 2
• 1-1:45 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #2 – Fieldhouse 2
• 2-2:45 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #3 – Fieldhouse 2
• 3-3:45 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #4 – Fieldhouse 2
• 4-4:45 p.m.: Family Nerf Wars #5 – Fieldhouse 2
