Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta soon to launch spring grant program

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta will open its Spring 2022 Community Grants early next month.

The launch will take place on Feb. 3 after the Grant Writing Workshop. The foundation says all registered charities, qualified donees, and non-profits are welcome to attend the virtual workshop to learn about the updated grant guidelines. The grants were formerly known as the Smart and Caring Community Grants.

There are four rural funds, including the newly-created Cypress County Community Fund. There is also funds the Brooks and District Community Fund, the Rural Community Fund of Forty Mile, and the Prairie Crocus Community Fund, which spans Special Areas 2, 3 and the MD of Acadia.

Anyone interested in learning more about CFSEA’s Community Grants can RSVP to admin@cfsea.ca to join the virtual workshop from noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 3. The deadline to apply for a Spring 2022 Community Grant is March 15 .
