Jan 6, 2022 | 11:22 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A Medicine Hat man charged with the death of his domestic partner in the fall intends to plead guilty to second-degree murder.

Timothy Faulkner is charged in the death of Corinne Schneider. She was found deceased at a residence in the Panorama Apartment building in the zero hundred block of Third Street SE on Oct. 25.

Faulkner was arrested at the scene and charged soon after.

Against the advice of duty counsel, the 53-year-old waived his right to a preliminary hearing and elected to be tried by judge alone.

Faulkner appeared in provincial court today via closed-circuit TV.

The matter was adjourned until Feb. 18 for arraignment in Court of Queen’s Bench.
