LETHBRIDGE, AB – To say that the last few days have been hot is an understatement.
How hot is it? Well, it was so hot on Wednesday and Thursday that 27 daily maximum temperature records were set in across numerous Albertan communities.
Environment Canada says an upper ridge of high pressure has lead to heat warning and record-breaking temperatures across the province.
Between the last two days, Drumheller got to be the warmest, reaching 36.4 degrees on Thursday. That broke the community’s record set 50 years ago.
