Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – May 31

Mad Hatter

The local MLA doesn’t speak for everyone. The leader of the UCP should call an election. The policies and initiatives of this government are nothing but self-serving. They don’t serve Albertans !

Happy Hatter

To see the 16 year old boy mowing the lawn of my 90 year old single female without having to be told or asked. This is a good sign our youth are going the right way in life. I notice that many of the youth in our neighbourhood reach out, use their manners and are helpful to their elderly non related neighbours. Thank you to our Medicine Hat youth for the respectful attitudes!

Mad Hatter

Why oh why do families need to shop with each other. With limited numbers of capacity take consideration of everyone. It’s ok to shop alone, in some circumstances I know you have to. Leave your teenagers at home, your spouse at home with the kids.

Mad Hatter

I am really disgusted with the comment on here suggesting that the people living in Fort McMurray didn’t deserve the extra help getting their Covid surge under control! Why shouldn’t the province come to the aid of that community? Because that is where the oil sands are?? Seriously! The ICUs in that area of our province were FULL, should the province have ignored the situation? FYI … they have teachers, police officers, and firefighters in Fort McMurray too! Grocery store employees, pharmacy staff, delivery people, truck drivers, are all essential workers too. Give your head a shake!! By the way, this third wave would have been avoided if our privileged prime minister would have done a better job getting vaccines for our country!

Mad Hatter

Maybe, and that’s a big maybe, Albertans will do their research next election. Not vote in an Ottawarian that brings his big Ottawa ideas here that don’t fly here with our 4 million population.

Happy Hatter

Seeing the hot air balloon in the sky on Friday brought a smile to my face. Thank You to the person taking that balloon out for spreading joy throughout the city.

Mad Hatter

By calling the Calgary mayoral candidate who threatened AHS employees a nut job, the UCP leader is minimizing the threat to these employees. This mayoral candidate flagrantly dismissed COVID restrictions for months before he was actually charged.

Happy Hatter

I got vaccinated because I care to do every possible thing not to get and give covid to a loved one. I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t and gave covid to someone else who became really ill or died, could you?
