Heat warning issued for most of Alberta, including Medicine Hat
The workweek has started just as the weekend ended — with Medicine Hat and the majority of Alberta under a heat warning.
Environment Canada updated its warning for Medicine Hat-Bow Island-Suffield, just after 8 a.m. on Monday.
The forecast for Monday shows a high of 36 C, with the high dropping to the low 30s for the rest of the week. Overnight lows are forecast between 16 C and 18 C.
Heat warnings are in effect from the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park-Foremost region north to Fort McMurray-Fort MacKay and west to the centre of the province.
