Emergency crews on scene of tour bus rollover near Columbia Icefields area

Update (6:10 p.m.) : Alberta Health Services confirms in a tweet that multiple crews are attending a serious accident at the Columbia Ice Fields.

Several people , according to AHS, are in critical and serious condition.

Multiple EMS crews are attending a serious accident on the Columbia Icefields.

There are multiple patients, including several in critical and serious condition, however we do not have further information at this time.

JASPER, AB – A motor coach has rolled over near the Columbia Icefields area, along Hwy. 93.

RCMP in Jasper say multiple injuries have been reported and RCMP, EMS, Parks Canada and three Stars air ambulances with bases in Edmonton , Calgary and Grande Prairie have been called in to assist.

The RCMP is asking people in the area to clear the scene to allow emergency vehicles quick access into and out of the area.
