Human remains discovered in Brooks

BROOKS AB- RCMP say human remains have been discovered in a rural area outside of Brooks.

In a press-release statement, RCMP say they received a report of male human remains early Saturday morning.

An exact location of where the remains were located was not disclosed.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and the incident is believed to be non-criminal in nature.

Names will not be released, according to the RCMP, and no further updates are anticipated.
