Food bank receives grant from CFSEA

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat & District Food Bank is receiving a funding boost from the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta.
The grant for $37,182 comes from the emergency support fund through the federal government and the Community Foundations of Canada.
Niki Gray, community engagement coordinator with the community foundation, lauded the group for its work.
“They’re working with our vulnerable populations and the increase in need for food in our community is great and across the district,” she said. “We’re grateful to have them in the community to be able to support our community members.”
