MEDICINE HAT, AB – A 12-year-old boy sustained minor injuries in a low-speed collision in the city’s south end this morning.

According to police, at around 9:45 a.m. a northbound motorist had slowed and was watching a pedestrian in a crosswalk in the 4000 block of 13th Avenue SE. As the driver watched the pedestrian exit the crosswalk on the west, the boy rode into the crosswalk on the other side. A low-speed collision between the cyclist and the vehicle resulted.
