EDMONTON — Aurora Cannabis has announced the retirement of co-founder Steve Dobler as president and a director of the company on June 30th.
It says in a statement that Dobler’s decision to retire and help streamline its leadership team will help support the objectives of its business transformation plan.
Aurora announced in February that it was taking one-billion dollars in writedowns and would lay off 500 employees as part of a shakeup to its spending plans.
Its other co-founder, Terry Booth, stepped down that same month as chief executive.
