Medalta to start booking admissions for June 16

Medalta in the Historic Clay District will reopen its doors on June 16.

The popular tourist site will welcome visitors on pre-booked admissions, with specific guidelines in place.

Among those guidelines are limiting the number of visitors to 50 people in the museum at one time, only four people in the gift shop at one time and timed entry of visitors.

Officials also ask that anyone who is feeling sick does not come to Medalta, wear a mask if you have one and follow the physical distancing signage, spacing dots, and route markers.

Walk-in may be allowed if the museum hasn’t reached its capacity limit, but pre-booking admission is recommended.
