Water main rehabilitation starts on Division Avenue South

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Drivers on Division Avenue South will be detoured for the next few months as water main rehabilitation work starts this week.

Aging infrastructure will be replaced and isolation boundaries will be improved so that fewer customers will be impacted by the loss of water service when necessary.

The work, mainly to take place at intersections, will be done in phases so as to limit as best as possible inconveniences in accessing residences and businesses.

The project is expected to last until the end of July and residents can follow progress via a detailed map on the city’s website.
