Airport adjusts hours of operation
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Changes are being made at the Medicine Hat Regional Airport in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hours of operation at the airport terminal will change to 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday to Friday. The terminal will be closed to the public on Saturday.
These changes are in line with WestJet announcing a new flight schedule effective immediately, with an arrival set for 4 p.m. and departure scheduled for 4:30 p.m. from Sunday through Friday, reads a release from the City of Medicine Hat.
“We have airline staff here through the day, as well as our car rental companies, Avis and Budget, operating under the new hours” said Jeff Huntus, Airport Manager.
