Town of Rocky Mountain House to hold amalgamation talks with with Clearwater County, Village of Caroline

Rocky Mountain House town council will initiate discussions on amalgamation with Clearwater County and the Village of Caroline.

This after council voted unanimously during a special meeting held Thursday to support the initiation of amalgamation discussions as part of current negotiations already underway between the three municipalities.

The Town of Rocky Mountain House says it also supports a joint-application between the three municipalities for an Alberta Community Partnership grant to facilitate the amalgamation discussions.
