MEDICINE HAT, AB — Dawson Murschell has thrown his final dart on the Professional Darts Corporation tour.

In a Facebook post Monday morning, the Medicine Hat darts player says he is coming off the pro tour in the United Kingdom.

“Back home on December 4th and back to University in January,” the post reads. “I’ll be finishing my accounting degree and pursue a law degree afterwards.

“I won’t be playing Q school. Life away from home has been hell but I’m super proud to say I’ve been here and I’ve done it. I’ve got some interviews planned soon to further elaborate, but it’s just a bag of mixed emotions right now.”

Murschell first qualified for the Professional Darts Corporation in the youth ranks in 2017. A year later, he earned his card for the PDC.

Murschell says he will be competing on the Championship Darts Circuit (CDC), which is based in North America in 2020, according to a post on Facebook.
