Bjorklund listed in NHL Central Scouting rankings

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender has found himself listed as a player to watch by NHL Central Scouting.

Goaltender Garin Bjorklund has received a C rating from NHL Central Scouting in its preliminary ranking of players for the 2019-2020 season.

A “C” rating indicates a player would likely be picked in the fourth, fifth or sixth round in the NHL Draft. Bjorklund is the only member of the Medicine Hat Tigers listed in the rankings.

So far this season, Bjorklund has started twice for the Tigers, winning both games. He currently holds a 1.50 goals against average, and a 0.947 save percentage.
