Province hosting telephone town halls for budget next week

EDMONTON, AB — Alberta’s Finance Minister will be hosting a pair of telephone town halls next week to get feedback from Albertans about the upcoming provincial budget.
The town hall meetings will take place on October 7, for those living north of Red Deer, and October 9 for those living in Red Deer and all communities south.
A release from the province says publicly listed telephone numbers that are not on the national or provincial do not call list will be dialed and invited to participate in the call. Participants can also choose to register online in advance at the following link.
Cellphone users and other interest participants may dial into the call toll-free at 1-877-229-8493 and enter the code 115500 to participate.
