Medicine Hat’s Richards drafted by NLL’s Saskatchewan Rush

Medicine Hat’s Jayden Richards has been drafted into the National Lacrosse League.

On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Rush selected Richards with a fourth-round pick, 50th overall in the 2026 NLL Entry Draft.

The 21-year-old played his minor lacrosse with the Medicine Hat Sun Devils program.

He was captain of the Calgary Junior A Mountaineers in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League during the 2026 season.

The defenceman had six points in 16 regular-season games with two goals and four assists.
