Two suspects charged with drug trafficking in Medicine Hat after eight-month investigation
Two people have been charged after an eight-month investigation into suspected drug trafficking in Medicine Hat.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams’ organized crime unit arrested the two suspects Sept. 10 after executing search warrants at a home and a vehicle with assistance from the Medicine Hat Police Service.
ALERT says investigators seized about $30,000 worth of drugs, including 323 grams of cocaine, 53 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 19 grams of GHB and 100 illicit prescription pills.
Police also seized $5,938 in cash.
