Safety Buzz Campus demonstrates mobile commercial driving simulator for southern Alberta drivers
Safety Buzz Campus has launched southeast Alberta’s first mobile commercial driving simulator, giving employers, schools and aspiring drivers a new tool for training and assessment.
The simulator was showcased on Thursday during a demo day at the Safety Buzz Campus in Dunmore and is designed to replicate driving for Class 5, Class 3 and Class 1 licences.
Safety Buzz Campus co-owner Amy Zuk-Olsen said the simulator can recreate a range of driving conditions, including rain, snow, gravel roads and unexpected hazards such as a deer crossing the road.
The system can also simulate pulling trailers and Super B trailers while allowing drivers to practice in a controlled environment.
