Last-place Wild earn 2-2 draw with Roses on Baucom’s late goal
MONTREAL — Jorian Baucom scored in the 70th minute as the last-place Calgary Wild came away with a 2-2 draw against the second-place Montréal Roses in Northern Super League action Sunday.
Calgary opened the scoring in the 36th minute on a goal from Taegan Stewart.
Marie-Yasmine Alidou tied the game for the Roses in first-half extra time with her third goal in five games since joining Montreal from Portland of the NWSL.
Elyse Bennett put the Roses up 2-1 in the 50th minute with her league-leading 10th goal before Baucom salvaged the point for Calgary.
