Cypress County set to embrace new look

Cypress County is set to take on a new organizational brand on Sept. 18, when its updated logo and visual identity will be unveiled at the Site Link Forum economic development conference.

The county’s council has approved the new organizational brand at its meeting on Tuesday and directed administration to move forward with its implementation.

The rebrand is intended to reflect Cypress County today while creating a modern identity that can carry the organization into the future.

The new branding will provide a consistent look across County communications, signage, facilities, vehicles and other materials as existing assets are updated.

Details of the new logo and visual identity are being kept under wraps until the official unveiling.

“We’re excited to share this next chapter for Cypress County,” said Mayor Dan Hamilton in a statement.

“A lot of thought has gone into creating a brand that reflects who we are, where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. September 18 will be the first opportunity for the public to see it.”

Following the unveiling, the new brand will be introduced gradually across the organization as existing materials and assets are updated.
