Tigers target hockey genes in 2026 WHL Prospects Draft
The 2026 WHL Prospects Draft has officially come to a close, and the Medicine Hat Tigers made ten selections, split evenly amongst forwards and defense.
Four of the ten skaters come from either WHL or NHL lineage, including their first round pick, Max Osgood.
Osgood, who hails from Plymouth, MI, USA, played for Little Caesars 14U AAA this past season, posting 15 goals and 43 points over just 20 games.
Max’s father, Chris, had an exceptional NHL career, which included stints with the Detroit Red Wings, New York Islanders, and St. Louis Blues, before concluding his career back with Detroit.
