The City of Medicine Hat is holding another open house.

It is the city’s third Municipal Mingle, a public engagement opportunity that allows for resident feedback and for Hatters to see what the different departments are up to in the community.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 15 outside at the Towne Square downtown Medicine Hat.

Colleen Graham, director of communications, marketing and engagement, said the latest open house builds on the success of the ones that came before.

“Following the success of the public engagement open house at the Esplanade, we are excited to host another community engagement event at a new venue with addition of local food trucks,” Graham said.

“Our goal is to continue to establish this in-person event as a regular platform for meaningful community dialogue.”

The environmental utilities and community development departments are among those who have confirmed attendance so far.

The event is designed to foster a collaborative environment between city staff and community members, according to a news release.

The aim is to provide insights, gather feedback, and encourage community participation in new and ongoing projects that shape the future of Medicine Hat, the release added.

The city held its last Municipal Mingle in February.
