Fatal crash on Highway 526 north of Vauxhall

VAUXHALL, AB. — The driver of a semi trailer unit lost his life after a collision with another semi north of Vauxhall yesterday morning.

RCMP say it happened just before noon on Highway 526, between range roads 164 and 165.

A 29 year old man from Calgary was pronounced dead at the scene.

The adult male driver and a child passenger in the other semi trailer were treated for minor injuries.

Mounties do not expect any charges as a result of the crash.
