Early spring for Canada? Ground hogs say yes!

Three of Canada’s most famous weather-prognosticating groundhogs are predicting an early spring.

Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam and Quebec’s Fred la Marmotte both had good news for their handlers this morning.

Wiarton, Ontario’s famous albino groundhog Wiarton Willie was actually a no-show this morning.

A video was supplied to local media and included Mayor Janice Jackson telling everyone that Willie did not see his shadow, and is predicting an early spring.
