Update: Stolen crystal recovered, woman arrested

Update: In a Facebook post, the MHPS said a 41-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the theft, and she is scheduled to appear in court on March 30, 2021.

The stolen crystal valued at $1700 was also returned to the store owners.

MEDICINE HAT, AB- The MHPS is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect after a crystal valued at $1733.00 was stolen from a local business on Friday.

The theft was caught on store surveillance.

Police say the suspect is described as female, caucasian, and approximately 5’5 in height.

Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation, including the identity of the person in the attached surveillance footage, is asked to contact the MHPS at 403-529-8481 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800 – 222-8477 (TIPS).
