Clugston expected to announce political future today

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Voters in Medicine Hat should know early this afternoon if Ted Clugston will seek a third term as mayor this fall.

The annual State of the City address is happening virtually at noon. Clugston has announced his political intentions at the event in past years and has said he intends to do that again this time.

Clugston was first elected mayor in 2013 and then re-elected in 2017. Prior to those terms, Clugston served on city council for two terms as an alderman beginning in 2007.
