Festive light removal begins next week

Medicine Hat, AB – The removal of Medicine Hat’s festive lighting will begin Monday, January 25 in various parts of the city.

According to a city release, the work schedule is weather dependent as follows:

• Downtown
• 1st Street SE
• Maple Avenue Bridge
• 8th Street NE
• Division Avenue N near 20th Street NE
• Kingsway Avenue SE and South Railway Street SE
• Trans Canada Way SE
• Carry Drive SE
• Dunmore Road SE
• 13th Avenue SE

Residents are reminded to allow crews to work safely by obeying all traffic signs and posted speed limits in the area.
