Saskatchewan sports broadcaster dies from COVID-19 complications

A well known Saskatchewan broadcaster has died due to complications from COVID-19.
Warren Woods, a longtime Regina sports broadcaster was 66 years old. His death was confirmed by his family in a statement on Wednesday evening.
Woods was diagnosed with COVID-19 in December, and a GoFundMe page established to help with his recovery has so far raised more than $60,000.
In the statement, his children Nicole and Chris expressed gratitude for the support Warren received, saying that it’s comforting to known how many people cared about their dads.
