MEDICINE HAT, AB – After opening the 2019 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) season with back-to-back losses, the Medicine Hat Junior B Sun Devils look to pick up their first win tonight on home-turf.

Action for this year’s Sun Devils squad kicked off last weekend, as they hit the floor running Saturday against the Red Deer Renegades.

Even with a 3-goal performance from Noah Weimer, the Sun Devils just couldn’t pull out a win in their season opener, falling 21-7.

Not even 24-hours later, the Sun Devils had a date against the Calgary Axemen.

Weimer had yet another impressive outing, netting 4-goals on the road.

Unfortunately, the Sun Devils fell in a tight-one, 11-8.

Now, the focus shifts to tonight’s home-opener against those very same Axemen.

Medicine Hat (0-2) will look to pick up their first win of the season against an undefeated Calgary team (2-0) looking to play spoiler this evening.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for 7:30 at the Kinplex.
