Labrie named general manager of the Brooks Bandits
The Brooks Bandits have named Wayne Labrie their new general manager, saying the change reflects the expanded role he took on throughout last season.
The Bandits’ board of directors announced the change Friday, saying Labrie’s responsibilities extended beyond the traditional boundaries of his previous position.
The team’s board said his leadership and contributions were instrumental in helping Brooks capture the BCHL championship last season.
The new designation recognizes the role Labrie has already been performing within the organization, the Bandits’ board said.
