Kash Bonnett and Logan Cullen captured the team roping title with a time of five seconds, earning $3,028.68 each. Brooks’ Devin Wigemyr and his teammate Roland McFadden of Vulcan placed fourth with a time of six seconds. Consul’s Rylan Brost and teammate Clay McNichol finished seventh with a time of 7.9 seconds. Irvine’s Travis Nickolson and his partner Rylin Traynor were ninth with a time of 8.3 seconds.

Riley Wakefield had a strong showing, winning the tie-down roping event with an 8.5-second run and a $3,713.94 payday. He also placed second in team roping.

Tammy Lee Taylor won the barrel racing championship with a time of 17.38 seconds, taking home $3,901. Taber’s Kayce Liptak placed 13th with a time of 17.73 seconds.

Caitlyn Dahm claimed the breakaway roping title with a time of 2.8 seconds. Maple Creek’s Danae Kraft took home fourth spot with a time of 3.3 seconds.

Holden Atkinson won the bull riding event after scoring 87.5 points on Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo’s 217 Fire Power, earning $2,737.28.

The Medicine Hat Stampede ran from July 23 to 25 and featured competitors in bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, roping and racing events.
