The Summer Pro Rodeo is at the Grandstand starting at 1:30 p.m. Events include Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Bull Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, and Breakaway Roping.

Competitors from the area on Saturday include:

• Maple Creek’s James Perrin in Saddle Bronc
• Bull Riding has Medicine Hat’s Lonnie Phillips and Maple Creek’s Kahl Wasilow.
• Steer Wrestling has Maple Creek’s Tate Bierbach.
• Consul’s Rylan Brost competes in Team Roping.

Rodeo tickets are available online or at the grounds.

The night show on Saturday features a Johnny Reid concert at the Grandstand with Morgan Klaiber as the opening act starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available online or at the grounds.

Saturday night will also have fireworks at about 10:45 p.m. or following the concert.
