A pair of Medicine Hat lacrosse teams bring home medals during provincials hosted in the city

Medicine Hat hosted 24 lacrosse teams for provincials over the weekend in a variety of divisions.

Divisions included co-ed U13, U15, and U17, with both A and B divisions.

A pair of Medicine Hat Sun Devils teams earned provincial medals.

The U15 Yellow Sun Devils won Silver, and the U13 Black Sun Devils won Bronze.

It was a dominant 9-1 win for the U13 team in the Bronze Medal game over the Calgary Sabrecats.

The win caps off a season for the U13 squad, where they also won a league title in the Southern Alberta Lacrosse Association.

The provincial tournament took place at the Kinplex Arenas and the Moose Rec Centre from July 10-12.

Next up for seven U15 Sun Devils lacrosse players is the 2026 Alberta Summer Games in Strathcona County from July 16-19.

Competing from Medicine Hat are Cash Anderson, Brady Brudevold, Dawson Ressler, Ben Rocheleau, Parker Schorr, Channing Walter, and Jarik Young.
