Tigers sign 2011-born defenceman Nash Springer

The Medicine Hat Tigers have signed 2011-born defenceman Nash Springer to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement, the team announced Thursday afternoon.

Springer, selected 44th overall in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft, posted 37 points in 50 games for the Dallas Stars Elite 14U AAA team this past season.

The 5’11”, 159 lbs Springer hails from McKinney, TX, USA, and is one of three American-born skaters selected by the Tigers during the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft.

With this signing, the Tigers have now inked WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their first two selections of the 2026 Draft after signing F Max Osgood earlier this week.
