The City of Medicine Hat begins its annual roadway resurfacing program on Monday, June 1.

A program expected to run until mid-September.

The City says that all estimated timelines are weather permitting and subject to change.

Select roads are identified each year for resurfacing in the City’s capital budget, based on their priority level identified by a comprehensive asset management plan, according to the City.

The City’s annual road rehabilitation program rebuilds the road structure and is a separate program.

The annual road resurfacing program has targeted four key locations in 2026.
