Medicine Hat Tigers conclude regular season against the Red Deer Rebels

The Medicine Hat Tigers conclude their regular season tonight as they play host to the Red Deer Rebels with an opportunity to secure their fourth 50-win season in the illustrious 56-year history of the franchise.

The Tigers enter following a 9-3 drubbing of the Rebels last night.

With the win, the Tabbies denied Red Deer a playoff berth and have a chance to knock them out of postseason contention tonight.

The Rebels need a win to guarantee a playoff spot and one point to, at worst, force a tiebreaker game.

If Red Deer loses in regulation and the Moose Jaw Warriors win, the Rebels are eliminated.

• Red Deer win + any Regina loss
• Red Deer overtime loss + Regina regulation loss + any Moose Jaw loss

Round 1 vs. Moose Jaw

• Moose Jaw win + Regina regulation loss + any Red Deer loss
