Medicine Hat woman charged after property damage to multiple businesses

Medicine Hat Police Service has charged a local woman with multiple counts of mischief causing damage.

42-year-old Shannon Panipekeesick faces three counts over $5,000, and six counts under $5,000.

On Nov. 18, 2025, the Medicine Hat Police Service Downtown Patrol Unit responded to multiple reports of property damage involving nine businesses located along the 400 block of North Railway Street SE.

The total estimated damage is approximately $70,000.

Following an investigation, officers identified the suspect.
