Medicine Hat Cubs on a 12-game winning streak at Christmas break
The Medicine Hat are the hottest team in the Heritage Junior Hockey League heading into the Christmas break.
Riding a 12-game winning streak to the break, the Cubs have taken over top spot in the Gary Wournell South Division, with a six-point lead over both the Cannex Cochrane Generals and the Agra Risk Wheatland Kings out of Strathmore.
The Cubs sit just four points back of the Sylvan Lake Wranglers for the top spot in the league.
A 19-win, six-loss, and one overtime loss record gives the Cubs 39 points on the season, and puts them in the driver’s seat with 10 games remaining in the regular season.
