Brooks Bandits forward and alternate captain Liam Fitzpatrick was named the BCHL First Star of the Week on Monday.

He led all players in the BCHL last week with six goals in two games.

On Friday, the 20-year-old from Moose Jaw, Sask. became the first player in the BCHL to score five goals in a single game this season, during the Bandits’ 8-4 home win over the Spruce Grove Saints.

On Sunday, Fitpatrick scored his third power play goal of the weekend in a 7-5 victory over the Sherwood Park Crusaders.

Fitzpatrick’s 17 goals on the season are tied for fifth overall in the BCHL, while his 24 points rank fourth on his team.

The Bandits return to action after the Christmas Break on Friday, Jan. 3, 2026, when they host the West Kelowna Warriors.
