Medicine Hat’s Root Cellar receives funding during CPKC Holiday Train stop

The CPKC Holiday Train came through Medicine Hat on Sunday.

During the stop, the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub received a $9,000 donation in support of its Emergency Food Pantry.

During the event, the community also raised $1,043 in cash donations and 824 lbs for the local food bank.
