The Redcliff RCMP are hosting the fifth annual Stuff the Cruiser donation campaign on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, from noon until 6 p.m. in front of Redcliff Family Foods.

As they attempt to fill the back of a police cruiser with donations to the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub in Medicine Hat.

Items they are looking to collect include food donations of non-perishable items, toilet paper, diapers, and other necessities to support those in need.

They will also accept cash donations for the local food bank.

Redcliff RCMP Staff Sergeant Michael Courty said this will be his fourth year organizing it.

“It’s something we look forward to every year, despite every year seeming to be some of the worst weather in the month when we decide to plan this,” Courty said.

“Just to raise awareness and help out the community the best we can.”

Donations won’t be limited, and the police cruiser can be filled and emptied as many times as needed.

Dignitaries from Cypress County and bylaw officers will also be on site.

In 2024, the event raised just over 3,900 pounds of items for the local food bank.
