Live election results: Battle River-Crowfoot – Damien Kurek wins riding in resounding victory

Conservative candidate Damien Kurek has been declared the unofficial winner in the Battle River-Crowfoot riding.

The incumbent captured the Battle River-Crowfoot riding in a landslide victory with 82.2 per cent of the vote. CHAT NEWS TODAY made multiple attempts to reach Kurek but were unable to in time for publishing.

However, in a Facebook post he thanked the residents of Battle River-Crowfoot for their support.

“Thank you to Battle River-Crowfoot once again for the honour to serve. My promise to you is that I will work and fight to ensure you continue to be heard in the House of Commons,” he wrote.

“The national result was not what we hoped for, Conservatives made massive gains and will work to restore the Canadian promise. Danielle and I appreciate your support, care, and the honour to continue to serve.”

6,096 (10.7%) – Brent Sutton – Liberal
