The library is a wonderful place to find new books, but there’s more going on than just flipping through pages.

Here are the top five things to do at the Medicine Hat Public Library in February 2025.

Starts March 1, ages 10-12

Celebrate the women who inspire you! Draw a picture of a woman who inspires you (or something related to them) and write a few sentences explaining why they inspire you. Submit your entry for a chance to win the book “What Would She Do? 25 True Stories of Trailblazing Rebel Women!” Pick up an entry sheet at the Children’s Desk starting March 1 and return it by March 10.

Play builds connection, resiliency and creativity – so why stop playing as an adult?

Let’s get back to it! Come rebel against the pressures of adulting and join us for a fun-filled evening of building with Lego and creating whatever your imagination desires!
