It’s the first of three games over three nights for the Tigers, with a game at home Saturday against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, and on the road in Lethbridge on Sunday.

Friday’s game is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the Tigers and the Warriors.

The Tigers hold the edge so far this season winning two of the three games, and the Warriors roster will be different than the previous meetings when goaltender Jackson Unger and Brayden Yager where still members of the Warriors.

A Dec. 2 trade sent Unger and Yager to the Lethbridge Hurricanes, but the Tigers won’t have to worry about facing Yager in their back to back meetings with the Hurricanes as he’s joining McKenna on Canada’s World Junior team.

The Tigers made a pair of trades this week.

On Thursday, they reacquired goaltender Zach Zahara from the Wenatchee Wild, and on Friday sent defenseman Matt Paranych to the Regina Pats.

Zahara practiced with the Tigers on Thursday, but didn’t make the trip to Moose Jaw, leaving Jordan Switzer as the starting goaltender for the contest and Medicine Hat native Beck Boiteau as the emergency backup for the second straight contest.

The live radio broadcast on Wild 94.5 with Will Bryant starts with the pregame show at 5:45 p.m., with puck drop at 6 p.m.
