Mavericks heading to Western Canadian Baseball League final

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Mavericks have clinched a spot at the Western Canadian Baseball League finals starting Tuesday.
After a nail-biting series against the Moose Jaw Miller Express, the Mavs came out on top with a 14-7 win in the third game of the Eastern Final.
The Mavs will take a day off, then head north to face the reigning WCBL champions, the Okotoks Dawgs. The game will take place in Seaman Stadium at 7:05 p.m.
Game two will be at Athletic Park on Wednesday Aug. 16 at 7:05 p.m.
